About MarketFairValue

Free, transparent stock valuation tools built by a software engineer who believes every investor deserves access to professional-grade analysis , without a paywall.

Built by Meet Dhanani

Meet Dhanani, Creator of MarketFairValue

I’m Meet Dhanani, a Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat(Data & AI), with 4+ years of professional experience building production web applications at companies including Red Hat (IBM), Go Rentals, and Fynd (Jio Commerce Platform).

I built MarketFairValue because I was frustrated that quality stock valuation tools were either locked behind expensive paywalls or buried in spreadsheets. I wanted a clean, modern tool that runs four established valuation models on real financial data, and gives every investor the same analysis that professionals use, completely free.

The platform is engineered with the same standards I apply in my professional work: automated data pipelines refreshing every 24 hours, server-side rendering for performance, and transparent methodology you can verify.

Our Mission

Wall Street firms spend millions on the same valuation models MarketFairValue runs for free. DCF, Graham Number, PEG, and DDM are well-documented, mathematically reproducible methods. There is no reason they should cost $30/month. Our mission is to make fundamental stock analysis accessible to every self-directed investor, with full transparency into the assumptions and math behind every number.

What We Offer

  • Fair Value Calculator: DCF, Graham Number, PEG, and Dividend Discount Model valuations with interactive assumption sliders so you can test your own scenarios.
  • “If You Bought” Calculator: See what an investment in any stock would be worth today, including dividends reinvested via DRIP.
  • Dividend Income Planner: Project passive income from dividend stocks with DRIP simulation, reverse-income calculator, and portfolio builder.
  • Earnings Countdown: Live countdown to next earnings with Wall Street EPS consensus estimates and historical beat/miss records.
  • Stock vs Alternatives: Compare any stock’s total returns against other stocks or benchmarks like the S&P 500, Nasdaq, Gold, Bitcoin, and Treasury Bonds.

Our Methodology

Every stock is analyzed using four valuation models, each with a specific weight in the composite fair value estimate:

  • 40%DCF (Discounted Cash Flow): projects free cash flow over 10 years and discounts to present value
  • 25%Graham Number: Benjamin Graham’s formula: √(22.5 × EPS × Book Value Per Share)
  • 25%PEG Fair Value: adjusts P/E ratio by the earnings growth rate to gauge whether the price is justified
  • 10%DDM (Dividend Discount Model): values dividend-paying stocks by discounting all projected future dividends

These are automated mathematical projections based on historical financial data and analyst consensus estimates. Different assumptions about growth rates, discount rates, and terminal values will produce different results. The interactive sliders on every stock page let you adjust these assumptions to match your own outlook.

Financial data is sourced from automated financial market data APIs and refreshed every 24 hours via an automated pipeline. The data includes:

All calculations are performed on our servers using publicly available financial data. We do not provide proprietary research, recommendations, or buy/sell signals.
